11 New Albums You Should Listen to Now: Fontaines D.C., the Avalanches, and

Fontaines D.C. are back with fresh material, and it lands like a jolt. The Dublin crew have been on a tear since Dogrel dropped in 2019, that raw debut all snarl and swagger, before they pivoted darker on A Hero's Death and bigger on Skinty Fia. This new one keeps the momentum. Grian Chatten knows how to turn a mood into a moment.

The Avalanches turn up too, and that alone is worth your time. These are the folks who built Since I Left You out of thousands of samples back in 2000, then made us wait sixteen years for Wildflower. Patience pays. Every drop from them feels like a little event.

There is more waiting in the queue beyond these two, a stack of new tracks ready to stream right now. Some bangers, some sleepers, plenty to dig through.

So clear your afternoon. Hit play, let it run, and find your next favorite. The best listening weeks start exactly like this.
