9 New Albums You Should Listen to Now: Cameron Winter, Deafheaven, Dawn

The weekend drop is stacked. Cameron Winter is back with new material, and if you've been living with Heavy Metal since it landed, you already know this guy writes like nobody else in the room. Deafheaven keep pushing the blackgaze blueprint they perfected on Sunbather, still finding new ways to make noise feel pretty. Dawn Richard returns too, carrying that fearless art-pop streak she's chased since her Dirty Money days and the Blackheart era.

Troye Sivan rounds out the batch, and the pop craft here is a stunner, more proof the Something to Give Each Other run was no fluke. That's a killer spread across genres: ambient folk, metal, experimental R&B, glossy pop.

There's more buried in the pile too, so dig in and find your own gem. Every one of these artists is operating at a high level right now. The momentum is real.

Clear your afternoon. Hit play. These tracks reward the close listen, and a few of them might soundtrack your whole week.
