Angèle is back with a stunner. The Belgian pop force just dropped "Love Triangle," a new track that pulls in Caroline Polachek and SebastiAn for a proper moment. It lands ahead of her third album, Instinct, out next month.
This one's been building for a while. We already got the Justice collab "What You Want," plus "Dis-le" and "Une seule vie," and each one showed a bolder Angèle stretching past the sweetness of her 2018 debut Brol and tracks like "La Loi de Murphy." "Love Triangle" pushes further into glossy, off-kilter pop, and Polachek's ghostly vocals are the perfect foil for it.
SebastiAn brings the sharp edges here, and the whole thing feels like three artists locked into the same wavelength. It's playful, it's icy, it's a belter. Angèle has always had range, but this era feels like the big swing she's been circling since "Balance ton quoi."
Instinct is shaping up to be her killer statement. This track is the reason to believe it.
