Dazy is back, and the fuzz merchant has a new one to spin. James Goodson, the VA-based songwriter behind the project, just dropped "Ugly," a fresh single ahead of his upcoming compilation. That comp, MAXIMUMBLASTSUPERLOUD Vol. 2: 24 Songs From 2023-2026, lands next month and pulls together three years of singles and EPs into one loud, glorious package.
It also packs seven new tracks. We already heard "Beat Change," a brassy, clanging belter, and now "Ugly" keeps the momentum rolling.
If you've been here since OUTOFBODY back in 2021, you know Goodson has a gift for pairing wall-of-noise guitars with hooks that stick. That first MAXIMUMBLASTSUPERLOUD comp set the blueprint. This one just widens the scope.
Twenty-four tracks is no small swing. It's a career snapshot from an artist who keeps churning out gems and never lets the quality slip.
Crank it, then wait for the full thing next month. Dazy stays reliable.
