Disfear are back with a new album, and the news carries weight. The Last Nail was recorded before the deaths of vocalist Tomas Lindberg and Marcus Andersson, which makes this a final statement from one of Sweden's great crust punk crews. If you slept on 2008's Live The Storm, fix that now. That record is a beast, a stunner of a heavy album, and one of the finest things this century put to tape. The title track alone still levels rooms.
I caught them touring behind Live The Storm here in the States. They ripped. That memory sticks, and it stings knowing there won't be another chance to stand in that pit.
