Ebbb are back with a new single, and "Public" is the kind of track that refuses to sit still inside any genre box. The London trio have always had this knack for building something you can't quite name. Call it dreamy chamber-rage. Call it anything you want, really.
"Public" swells and crashes in all the right places, pairing hushed beauty with a swell of tension that detonates. If you caught the swirling drama of their earlier work, you know these three thrive in that space between fragile and ferocious. This is them pushing further out.
The London scene has produced plenty of shape-shifters lately, but Ebbb feel like a band writing their own rulebook as they go. There's craft here, and there's nerve. The stunner builds momentum for whatever comes next.
Some bands chase trends. Ebbb are busy inventing a sound nobody else can copy, and "Public" is proof they're onto something special. Go hear it for yourself.
