Index – “Dissolve”

Index are back with "Dissolve," and it rips. The experimental hardcore duo drop their debut album Vis Inertiae this Friday, and this new track is the latest look at what's coming. We've already heard "Cellophane," "Fractured," and "Earth," each one a different flavor of chaos. "Dissolve" pushes further.

For a band this new, the confidence is wild. Vis Inertiae feels like a statement, not a tentative first step, and every single they've shared has widened the picture: hardcore roots, experimental edges, a duo that clearly knows exactly what noise they want to make. "Earth" hinted at the scope. "Dissolve" delivers on it.

Two members, no filler, all teeth. That's the pitch, and so far the songs back it up. This is the kind of debut that arrives fully formed, the sound of a band who spent time in the trenches before letting anyone hear a note.

Friday can't come fast enough. Vis Inertiae is going to be a beast.
