priori and Patrick Holland, aka Jump Source, are back with a new album called Fold. The pair have pulled together a dream crew for it: Billy Woods, Loukeman, BEA 1991, and CFCF all show up across the record. That is a lineup worth pausing on.
Anyone who tracked priori's On a Nimbus work or Holland's textured house on 2021's Loop knows these two build worlds, not just tracks. Fold sounds like the next step. The lead single, "Shattered," brings Helena Deland into late-night club territory she has never touched before, and she moves through it with real ease.
It is a stunner. Deland's voice floats over something patient and glowing, the kind of moment that rewards headphones at 2am. The collaborator list reads like a who's who, but nothing here feels crowded.
This is two producers at the top of their game, opening the door wide. Fold might be the gem that pulls all these worlds together. Do not sleep on "Shattered."
