My Chemical Romance Tease New Album, Bring Out King Diamond

My Chemical Romance are teasing new music, and yes, this is the moment fans have waited on since the reunion.

Here's the deal. After effectively splitting in 2013, the band came roaring back in 2019, then spent recent years filling stadiums and playing The Black Parade in full, that untouchable 2006 anthem machine. Killer sets. No new material, though.

Their last studio record remains Danger Days, the color soaked 2010 belter that gave us gems like "Na Na Na" and "SING." Fifteen years is a long stretch between albums. Now they're finally talking about breaking the silence.

And in true MCR fashion, they made a moment of it: bringing out metal legend King Diamond, a nod to the theatrical horror streak that always ran through their DNA, back to "Vampires Will Never Hurt You."

New chapter incoming. If the live shows are any sign, this next era could be a stunner.

Keep marching. The Black Parade never really ended, it just went quiet for a bit.
