One Step Closer are back with a new album called Zero. The Pennsylvania crew have been building toward this moment since This Place You Know landed in 2021, sharpening that melodic hardcore edge that first grabbed us. Now they're ready to swing bigger.
They've dropped two tracks to set the stage, and both hit hard. You can hear how far they've traveled from the raw bite of Songs for the Willow, their 2019 EP that put them on the map. The hooks are sharper now. The heaviness lands cleaner.
Zero feels like a band stepping into their full power, all those years of touring and grinding finally paying off in a bigger, bolder sound. It's melodic. It's heavy. It's the kind of record that pulls new ears in while rewarding the day ones who've been here since the start.
Two tracks down, and the momentum is real. This is a band hitting their stride.
Press play and let it rip.
