Paul McCartney is back with more. Today he drops a digital deluxe edition of The Boys Of Dungeon Lane, loading four fresh tracks onto this year's record.
The album landed in May, his first in six years, and it's a tender trip back to his Liverpool childhood. It gave us "Home To Us," his first-ever duet with Ringo, and that moment alone made the whole thing worth it. It also scored Macca his first Mercury Prize nod, which feels wild for a guy who's been making gems since "Maybe I'm Amazed" in 1970.
The deluxe cut expands the era without losing the warmth. These four new ones stretch the story, and the physical version arrives closer to Christmas for anyone who still wants the sleeve in their hands.
Oh, and he banned Larry David from his shows, because of course he did.
Fifty-five years into a solo run and he's still finding new corners to fill. That's the moment here.
