@ are back with a new track and a stacked run of dates. The Philadelphia psych-folk duo of Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak just dropped "Bird," the latest preview of their album Autosmile, out October 16 via 4AD. It's a gem. The Caity Arthur directed video chases beauty through sadness, same as the track itself.
Filipczak wrote it on a bike ride through Baltimore's Druid Hill Park, inspired by dead baby birds showing up on his deck. The lyrics lean on puns to soften the hopelessness. A real moment.
This follows 2023's Mind Palace Music, and "Bird" joins the seven-minute title track and "Punish My Mind" as the third taste so far. Momentum is building.
They open for YHWH Nailgun and This Is Lorelei this fall, then headline their own 2027 tour. That run stretches across the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, hitting Philly, Chicago, Los Angeles, Paris, and London.
Catch these two live while the rooms are still small.
