Show Me The Body are hitting the road again, and the lineup is pure chaos. It happens about once a year. The NYC crew drop a North American tour with a bill so wild you say "whoa" out loud reading it.
These openers come from the hardcore underground, mostly. The thing is, none of them sound alike. What they share is a live show that hits like a truck, all intensity and aggression and sweat.
That tracks for a band who built their whole thing on controlled noise. Go back to 2016's Body War, the banjo grinding against the hardcore, and you get it: SMTB have never cared about fitting neatly anywhere. Dog Whistle in 2019 pushed it further.
So this tour reads like a Sheetz combo meal of acts that shouldn't make sense together. Cheese curds, a breakfast burrito, some sour Skittles. Somehow it works every single time.
