Now he's rapping again, but the clubby energy carries over into "Innocent Smile." This one pulls in Chase & Status and Madness legend Suggs, an unlikely crew that somehow clicks. It's a track built on collision, bass weight against Skepta's flow, that same restless spirit that ran through Konnichiwa back in 2016.
The man refuses to sit still. From "Shutdown" to Ibiza decks to this, he keeps moving the goalposts on himself. The genre-hopping could feel scattered in weaker hands. Instead it plays like an artist chasing every idea he can.
