Teens In Trouble are back with "I Do," and Lizzie Killian wastes zero time getting to the point. The Raleigh project kicks things off with a killer opener: "I'm fine / Actually, nevermind / Rememberin' why I was mad." Relatable doesn't even cover it.
Killian has always lived in that sweet spot between pop-funk and fuzzed-out garage rock, and this new track leans right into both. Think back to the scrappy charm of 2022's What's Mine Is Yours, where she sharpened that mix of hooks and grit. "I Do" feels like a natural next step.
The fuzz is thick. The attitude is thicker. There's a looseness here that makes the whole thing feel alive, like it was tracked in a room with the windows open and the amps cranked.
This is the kind of gem that sticks on first listen, then digs deeper after a few spins. Teens In Trouble keep building momentum, one sharp belter at a time. Press play and get mad with her.
