New Orleans' Twisted Teens just dropped "Stalks," and it's a swampy lo-fi ripper. The band have been on a tear this year, already stacking up two full albums of garage-punk grime: Blame The Clown and Florida Water Blues both landed in 2024, and neither of them let up. Now there's a third on the way.
Here's the big news: Twisted Teens made the jump to Sub Pop. Their new LP The Holy Cross Tigers arrives next month, and if "When We First Met" was the opening salvo, "Stalks" proves the lead single wasn't a fluke. The production stays murky, the hooks cut right through the haze, and the whole thing feels like a band hitting full stride on a bigger stage.
Three records in a year, a label upgrade, a sound that drags you straight into the bayou mud. That's a serious run.
Play "Stalks" loud. These teens are just getting started.
