Quinetik – Astronaut Dreams
Quinetik's 'Astronaut Dreams' is a hypnotic slice of atmospheric cloud rap, weightless and emotionally grounded in equal measure.
Quinetik floats through 'Astronaut Dreams' like someone mapping the inside of their own head at 3am. The production is kinda spacious and feels very deliberate, built on hypnotic trap drums that never rush. And there's some really cool 80s, ambient textures here, surrounding the vocal delivery that stays cool even when the lyrics dig into ambition, distance, and self-reflection. There's a drift to the whole thing, melodic lines curling through the mix like smoke, but it never loses its anchor. The hook lands softly and stays. Superb atmospheric hip-hop, immersive and emotionally direct.
Quinetik is a Bay Area artist carving out a lane where melodic trap meets late-night introspection. The sound sits somewhere between cloud rap and alternative hip-hop, mood-driven and built for headphones. There's a strong sonic identity already in place here, the kind that makes you want to hear what a full project sounds like. This one's essential for Autumn, and we'll be watching closely for what comes next.
DedFACE – Gang shit
DedFACE's 'Gang shit' is a stunning piece of gangsta rap from Riga, visceral and unapologetically hard-hitting
DedFACE opens the throttle on 'Gang shit' and doesn't let up. The track is built on rattling trap percussion and a bassline that sits super low in your chest, all menace and momentum. Lyrically it's exactly what the title promises: crime, aggression, and a chest-thumping adrenaline surge that blocks out everything else. There's no padding here, no softening. The hook lands like a fist, and the verses stay lean and mean throughout. And that low end? It's doing serious work. Ferocious gangsta rap, raw and fully committed.
Dmitrijs Vasenovs, known as DedFACE, is an independent artist out of Riga, Latvia. Since his 2023 debut he's been carving out space with tracks that blend emotional volatility with unflinching honesty, his F44 dissociative disorder diagnosis shaping much of his storytelling. This one sits on the harder end of his output, built for volume and impact. We're into it, and we'll be watching what comes next.
