Michael Bissett wrote this one for his dog, and you can hear it. 'Me and My Satellite' opens with a guitar line that catches the light, synths pushing underneath like something remembered from a late-night drive. The vocal is just wonderful indie-filled, carrying a lyric that trades romantic clichés for something simpler. There's real movement here: the track builds without losing its footing, the band locked in tight while Bissett lets the melody shine. That chorus? Lands every time. Brilliant indie rock, joyful and utterly sincere.
