Dobr._Man – Moře
Dobr._Man's 'Moře' is a thundering Czech alternative rock anthem, raw guitar power meeting a refugee story that hits hard
Dobr._Man open 'Moře' with a riff that means business. The guitar comes in heavy, the rhythm section locks underneath, and the vocal sits right between urgency and control. What makes this one land is the story: Greek civil war refugees and the decades it took them to get home. The lyrics work that narrative without spelling everything out, letting the music do the emotional lifting. And that chorus? It builds exactly where it needs to, the whole band pushing into something properly anthemic. Powerful alternative rock, emotionally charged and fully in.
They are an alternative rock outfit from Olomouc, Czechia, operating as a 'two-and-a-half-piece': bass, keyboards and vocals from Petr DM Isakidis, drums from Jirka 'Moonsty' Novák, and guitar running from a sample. The band emerged in 2022, dropped their debut single 'Najednou' in 2023, and followed it with the CD *Dobrman* that autumn. They have had airtime on Czech Radio Olomouc and played Hanácký Woodstock in 2024. A real highlight this October.
