Hanna Andréa opens 'Pinnacles' with a gentle kind of indietronica hush before the track blooms into something much bigger. The verses sit in an intimate, almost whispered space, layering soft synth textures and piano beneath her voice. Then the chorus arrives and everything lifts: rising synths, subtle strings, and that devastating hook built around the refrain 'Feels like falling'. The sound world is great, and the song captures the exhaustion of relentless striving, the way ambition can feel like both fuel and weight. Gorgeous modern synth pop, tender and soaring in equal measure.
Andréa is a Norwegian-American artist now based in New York, splitting her time between Princeton University and a rapidly expanding music career. Her 2024 debut album Stranded in the Middle introduced her atmospheric blend of layered vocals, orchestral textures and contemporary pop hooks, drawing comparisons to AURORA and Laufey. Beyond recording, she composed the score for Muse! The Shakespeare Mayhem Musical, which premieres at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe following its Lincoln Center debut. Her YouTube channel has grown to nearly 400,000 subscribers. 'Pinnacles' arrives ahead of her Braveheart EP on August 21st, and we are genuinely excited to hear where she takes things next.
